KAMPUNG BUDAYA KARANG KENE' (KAMPUNG MISTIS)

Dusun Karang Kenek berlokasi di Desa Olean, Kecamatan Situbondo menjadi salah satu dusun paling unik di Situbondo.

Dusun ini dikenal oleh masyarakat luas karena mitos yang melingkupinya. Yaitu terdapat mitos bahwasannya dusun tersebut hanya bisa dihuni oleh 26 kepala keluarga. Mitos ini pun membuat Dusun Karang Kenek kemudian dikenal juga sebagai dusun mistis.

Sementara itu, masyarakat setempat justru merasa bangga karena dusun mereka memiliki tradisi budaya unik yang bisa diperkenalkan ke masyarakat luas.

Sampai sekarang, kepercayaan bahwa dusun itu hanya bisa ditinggali oleh 26 keluarga tetap diindahkan oleh masyarakat setempat dan menjadi local wisdom/kearifan lokal Dusun Karang Kene'.

“Karang Kenek Hamlet, located in Olean Village, Situbondo District, is one of the most unique hamlets in Situbondo.

The community knows about it because of the myth surrounding it that there are only 26 families who can live in Karang Kenek hamlet. This has made the hamlet pretty mystical.

The local community is proud that their hamlet has unique cultural traditions that they can share with the wider community.

They still believe that only 26 families can live there, and that's become the local wisdom of Karang Kene' Hamlet.”

Dusun Karang Kene', Desa Olean, Kabupaten Situbondo juga miliki spot swa selfie berupa boardwalk (jembatan wisata) berbahan bambu yang instragramable dengan fasilitas umum kolam pemandian, pondok wisata, kebun bunga dan pusat jajanan kuliner khas desa. Traveler juga dapat membeli bibit bunga disini lho.
